2024 Abstract Paintings | Organized Contemporary Art by Ritu Raj

In 2024, I made a transformative commitment: to bring order and intentionality to my artistic practice. With over 200 paintings filling my studio, the need for structure became undeniable. I turned to ArtworkArchive to catalog and document each piece systematically, creating a digital record that not only brought organization but also reconnected me with the journeys behind every brushstroke.

This process was more than logistical. As I archived each painting, memories of their creation returned—moments of quiet exploration, bold experimentation, and everything in between. Together, these works form a comprehensive narrative of my evolution as a contemporary abstract artist.

Creatively, 2024 marked a turning point. I began developing a new collection rooted in dynamic forms, layered textures, and conceptual abstraction. Older works transformed into new expressions, as I painted over select pieces to integrate past textures with fresh gestures and color. This juxtaposition of old and new mirrors growth and reinvention in art—and life.

Organizing my portfolio and creating this collection became an act of introspection and discovery. Each archived piece and every new canvas offered deeper insights into how structure and creativity coexist, fueling both innovation and grounded presence in my work.
