In Algorithm in Red Light, heat and structure collide. A vertical red form, divided between deep crimson and luminous scarlet, stands within a storm of dark green and yellow motion. The composition holds a quiet ferocity — a geometry illuminated from within, as if reason itself were burning into revelation.
This work continues my exploration of the relationship between order and emotion, the algorithmic and the organic. The vertical form represents logic, integrity, and structure — the coded spine of thought. Around it, sweeping gestural strokes pulse with instinct and intuition, their energy unconstrained by symmetry. The result is both a conversation and a confrontation: an equilibrium achieved through tension.
The title refers to both illumination and warning, to the red light that stops movement yet radiates power. Here, light becomes language — the signal of awareness emerging from shadow. The painting suggests that emotion and intellect, often seen as opposites, are in fact co-dependent algorithms: one cannot generate meaning without the other.
Algorithm in Red Light reflects my ongoing inquiry into how abstraction reveals truth — not as data, but as presence. It is integrity seen through heat, structure revealed through surrender.
