Love Story is a vibrant collision of memory, movement, and form—an abstract celebration of connection. Rooted in the bold spirit of 1950s Pop Art, this piece merges playful nostalgia with contemporary process. It began with a wood panel, carved using CNC tools to create fluid, amoeba-like shapes that feel both futuristic and organic.
Once the surface was cut, I painted it with vivid acrylics—rich reds and deep purples flowing into one another in seamless, curving gestures. The final layer of epoxy resin brings the work to life, giving it a sleek, glass-like finish that catches and refracts light. The piece glows. It shifts. It invites you in.
The forms within Love Story feel alive—shaped by rhythm, instinct, and the emotional architecture of love itself. Love doesn’t unfold in straight lines. It bends, pulses, expands. There are moments of clarity and moments of blur, all of which are captured here in color and shape. The glossy finish deepens this sense of movement, turning the work into something that changes slightly every time you return to it.
There’s no narrative here in the traditional sense. Instead, it’s a reflection of feeling—a visual echo of how love evolves: surprising, layered, and never quite the same twice. This piece is meant to be felt before it’s understood. A moment of joy. A memory in motion.
Love Story is not just about romance—it’s about presence. The kind of connection that asks you to pause, to look again, and to find something new each time.
