In String Wave, movement becomes material. Lines of blue and white sweep and fold across the surface, creating the illusion of current and depth. The paint, pulled and guided by string rather than brush, reveals energy made visible — the memory of motion held in rhythm and tension.

This work continues my exploration of gesture as structure — how form can emerge through flow, and how control and surrender coexist within a single movement. Each arc of pigment carries both direction and chance, the path of the string recording an improvisation guided by instinct and resistance.

The blue palette evokes water, air, and the infinite — elements that suggest both presence and absence, solidity and transparency. In this field, the wave becomes metaphor: the eternal motion that connects all things, and the silence that follows its release.

In String Wave, what begins as a technical act transforms into meditation. The wave is not only seen but felt — a vibration between the tangible and the ephemeral, the known and the felt. It stands as a quiet affirmation that movement itself can be an expression of stillness.
