In Algorithm of Reflection, movement and stillness exist in quiet balance. A vertical form divided between deep crimson and black stands at the heart of a swirling blue field — an axis of stillness within motion, structure within flux. The painting feels like the echo of a thought, or the pause between breaths: a moment when perception turns inward.
This work concludes my ongoing Algorithm Series, where I explore how logic and emotion, order and intuition, coexist within abstraction. Here, the “algorithm” has become introspective — no longer an outward system, but a mirror. The swirling blue suggests both water and sky, vast yet contained, while the central form holds the weight of contemplation.
Reflection, in this sense, is both literal and philosophical. It’s the play of light on surface, but also the inward turn — the process of understanding through stillness. The deep red at the top of the form carries the residue of passion and life; the dark below it absorbs that energy, grounding it in depth.
Algorithm of Reflection asks what remains after motion and transformation — what quiet truths endure once color, energy, and fire have settled. It is the silence that completes the sequence, the integrity that reveals itself through calm awareness.
